Offering Description
Design of micro-/nano-optics like diffusers, beam shapers, splitters, metalenses, resonant waveguide gratings, plasmonics,... Instead of conventional raytracing we trace fields through the optical system, considering phase, polarization, Fresnel effects, diffraction and interference. To make the simulations efficient different rigorous and approximated field solvers can be smoothly combined, which allows the integration of diffractive optical elements in larger (geometric) optical setups.
